Description
GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is the principal inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system, acting as a natural brake on neuronal excitability. While early skepticism about its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier existed, newer research and specialized forms including PharmaGABA from natural fermentation suggest meaningful central effects with oral supplementation. It reduces mental chatter, promotes relaxation, shortens sleep onset time, and improves sleep architecture without the morning grogginess of pharmaceutical sedatives. Often combined with L-Theanine, magnesium, or melatonin in comprehensive sleep and anxiety support stacks.

How it Feels
