Welcome to Aambrosia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of aambrosia.com and any related content, tools, and services (collectively, the "Services"), operated by("Aambrosia," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Services, you ("User," "you") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Medical & Wellness Disclaimer
Aambrosia publishes educational content about nutrition, supplementation, recovery, cognition, and longevity, and provides interactive self-assessment tools (including a micronutrient gap checker, sleep cycle visualizer, brain fog navigator, supplement stack builder, and related calculators). None of this constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Services are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician or other licensed healthcare provider.
You should consult a doctor before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement, diet, or exercise regimen — particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, elderly, under 18, taking prescription medication, or managing a diagnosed medical condition. Our interactive tools use static, predefined logic based on inputs you provide; they do not analyze your individual medical history, do not diagnose anything, and their output should be treated as general educational information, not a personalized clinical recommendation.
Aambrosia does not sell, distribute, or advertise supplements, peptides, or any other products. We are a publisher of educational content and reference data, not a retailer, and we hold no inventory and process no product orders. Our supplement and superfood database entries — including star ratings and general pricing estimates — are provided for informational and comparison purposes only and are not offers to sell, endorsements of any specific brand or manufacturer, or recommendations to purchase or use any product, including compounds that are prescription-only or unapproved research chemicals. Where we discuss such compounds, that discussion is informational, not promotional, and is not an inducement to acquire or use them outside appropriate medical supervision and legal channels.
We aim to hold claims on Aambrosia to citable, peer-reviewed sources, and to flag plainly where popular claims outrun the evidence. That editorial standard is a commitment to how we work, it is not a warranty, and it does not change the disclaimers in this section or in Section 12. Supplementation carries risk, including interactions with medications and individual variation in response; we do not assume liability for outcomes from your use or misuse of any information on the Services.
2. Accounts
To subscribe, you'll create a password-protected account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, whether or not you authorized it. Notify us immediately at bio.aambrosia@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use. Information you provide when registering must be accurate, and you agree to keep it current.
3. Subscription, Billing & Cancellation
Plan. Aambrosia offers a subscription at $9.00 USD per month, billed on a recurring monthly basis, in addition to any content available without a subscription. Pricing and what's included may change over time as described below.
Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By subscribing, you authorize Aambrosia (through Stripe) to charge your payment method automatically each billing period until you cancel.
Before you're charged, you'll be shown, clearly and separately from any other disclosure: the price, that the subscription auto-renews monthly, and how to cancel. Submitting payment is your express agreement to those terms.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged using the payment method on file.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings, using a process no more difficult than signing up. Cancellation stops future billing; it takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you retain access through that period's end. We do not prorate or refund the current period on cancellation (see Section 4).
Price and plan changes. We may change subscription pricing or what's included with notice (email or in-app) at least [30] days before the change takes effect for existing subscribers. Continuing your subscription after that date means you accept the new price; if you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry it and/or suspend access to subscriber-only content until payment succeeds.
4. Refund Policy
Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. Canceling stops future charges but does not refund amounts already paid. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [support email] and we'll look into it.
5. AI Use Notice
Aambrosia's public-facing interactive tools run on static, predefined logic using values defined in our content system. They do not call a live AI model at runtime, do not generate new claims on the fly, and do not write anything back to our backend based on your inputs.
Separately, our editorial team may use AI tools as part of research and drafting assistance during content production.
6. Content Ownership & Permitted Use
All content on Aambrosia — articles, the supplement and superfood databases (including star ratings, dose tiers, bucket categorizations, ANDI scores, and pricing estimates), tool outputs, graphics, and the underlying compilation and selection of this data — is owned by Aambrosia or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, scrape, copy, republish, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from Aambrosia's content or databases, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission. Automated scraping or bulk extraction of our databases is prohibited.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Services to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation;
Infringe our or any third party's intellectual property rights;
Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract content or database records;
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our interactive tools;
Harass, defame, or discriminate against any person;
Submit false, misleading, or impersonating account information;
Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
Interfere with or attempt to bypass the security of the Services;
Use the Services for any unlawful, obscene, or fraudulent purpose.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating this section.
8. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers to operate Aambrosia, including Stripe for payment processing and Supabase for backend infrastructure. Your use of features that route through these providers is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services we don't control.
The Services may occasionally link to third-party websites for reference or citation purposes (for example, linking to a study or a source publication). We do not include affiliate links, retailer links, or other purchase links for supplements, peptides, or any other products, and we do not receive compensation for product placement within our content or databases. We don't control and aren't responsible for the content of external sites we cite.
9. User Submissions
If you submit feedback, comments, or suggestions to us, you agree we may use them without restriction or compensation to you. Don't submit anything unlawful, infringing, or that impersonates another person. We may, but aren't obligated to, monitor or remove submissions at our discretion.
10. Personal Information
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our [Privacy Policy], available at this link. The Services are intended for your own personal use and are not designed to collect or process another identifiable individual's personal or health information — please don't input anyone else's personal data into the Services.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles, CA, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the revised Terms with an updated "last updated" date, and for material changes affecting active subscribers, we'll provide notice as described in Section 3. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
